Cheesy Baked Pizza Casserole (Low-Carb)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 cup low-carb marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with a little oil or butter.
  2. Prepare the Base: Spread the cooked ground beef or sausage evenly in the baking dish. Pour the marinara sauce over it and spread evenly.
  3. Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  4. Add Toppings: Sprinkle diced bell pepper, onions, bacon (if using), and Italian seasoning. If you like spice, add red pepper flakes.
  5. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden brown.
  6. Cool & Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares and enjoy!
