Baked Salmon in Foil with Asparagus – Quick & Healthy
Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets (skin-on for extra moisture)
- 1 pound fresh asparagus (trimmed)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh dill, parsley, or a sprinkle of paprika for extra flavor
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prep the ingredients
Pat the salmon fillets dry and trim the tough ends off the asparagus.
3. Assemble the foil packets
- Lay out a large piece of foil on a baking sheet.
- Place a handful of asparagus in the center.
- Set a salmon fillet on top.
- Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze fresh lemon juice over everything.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and any optional herbs.
4. Seal the packets
Fold the foil over the salmon and asparagus, sealing the edges tightly.
5. Bake
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.
