Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake


 

🥬🍚 Cabbage Roll Skillet 🍚🥬  

A hearty and comforting one-pan dish that brings the flavors of traditional cabbage rolls to your table without the fuss of rolling. Perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner!


Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef  

1 small head of cabbage, chopped  

1 small onion, diced  

2 cloves garlic, minced  

1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes  

1/2 cup tomato sauce  

Salt and pepper to taste  

Optional: shredded cheese for topping  


Directions:

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.


Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.


Add the Cabbage: Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes, until it begins to wilt.


Combine the Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.


Simmer: Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.


Top with Cheese: If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the skillet and cover for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
