Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra gooeyness)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in the melted butter and milk until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the hot fudge sauce, swirling it through the batter for a rich, fudgy center. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely before slicing.
