Homemade Watermelon Ice Cream
A Refreshing & Creamy Summer Treat!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
- A few drops of red food coloring (optional)
- ½ cup fresh watermelon juice
- Small watermelon chunks
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Instructions:

Prepare the Watermelon:
- Remove seeds from the watermelon.
- Blend and strain to get ½ cup of fresh watermelon juice.
- Set aside some small watermelon chunks for added texture.

Make the Ice Cream Base:
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and a few drops of red food coloring (if using).
- Continue beating until stiff peaks form.

Incorporate the Watermelon Flavor:
- Gently mix in the watermelon juice.
- Beat for another 2-3 minutes until smooth and well combined.

Add Texture & Freeze:
- Fold in the watermelon chunks.
- Stir in the chocolate chips to resemble watermelon seeds.
- Transfer the mixture to a container, cover, and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
