Grandma’s Coffee Cake Muffins ☕🧁
Soft, cinnamon-swirled muffins with a buttery crumb topping—just like Grandma used to make!

Ingredients:

For the muffins:

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

For the streusel topping:

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
3️⃣ Stir in melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and egg until just combined.
4️⃣ Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling them about ¾ full.
5️⃣ In a small bowl, mix together the streusel ingredients, then sprinkle over each muffin.
6️⃣ Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7️⃣ Let the muffins cool slightly, then drizzle with vanilla glaze. Serve warm and enjoy!
